- The borders are stacked "above the images" in terms of hierarchy. To swap out the images, I recommend clicking on the specific canvas and the image/graphic element first, and then on the right hand panel, you can click the blue "Swap Image" button. Alternatively, if you don't want borders on your images, you can just delete that element!
- Each page is made up of canvases, and each canvases is made up of elements (ie. text box, image, icons, etc.) I recommend duplicating pages and sections to play around with Showit first if you are nervous about using this new platform! It is a mix of Canva and Photoshop. Everything is drag and drop that you can add to your site! To swap out elements, simply hit double click.
- If you are using the email marketing feature, be sure to embed your own email marketing platform onto Showit by using the embed code option or linking a button. The email opt-in is just a placeholder in this template.
- In order for the blog functionality to work, you will be required to subscribe to a plan first so that the Showit team can set-up your blog on WordPress. Do not edit directly your blog posts on Showit as this is just a template. All blog posts should be published on WordPress. Showit pulls the information directly from WordPress using placeholder fields. I recommend checking out the Showit Learning Library to understand how the two platforms work together!
